Install PlanBB on Windows
Use Chrome to install PlanBB as a desktop app in just a few clicks.
Open PlanBB in Chrome
Launch Google Chrome and navigate to the PlanBB web app.

Look for the install icon in the address bar (right side), or click the three-dot menu.
Confirm Installation
A popup will appear asking if you want to install PlanBB. Click the install button.
Done! PlanBB is Ready
PlanBB is now installed on your computer. Find it in your Start menu or desktop, and enjoy the full app experience.
Install PlanBB on iPhone & iPad
Add PlanBB to your Home Screen using Safari for quick access.
Open PlanBB in Safari
Launch Safari (not Chrome) and go to the PlanBB web app.
Tap the Share Button
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (square with an arrow pointing up).
Find 'Add to Home Screen'
Scroll down in the share menu and tap 'Add to Home Screen'.
Confirm the Name
You can customize the app name or keep the default. Tap 'Add' to confirm.
Done! Check Your Home Screen
PlanBB is now on your Home Screen. Tap the icon anytime to open it like a native app.
Install PlanBB on Android
Use Chrome to install PlanBB as an app on your Android device.
Open PlanBB in Chrome
Launch Chrome on your Android device and go to the PlanBB web app.
Open the Menu
Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of Chrome.
Tap 'Install App' or 'Add to Home Screen'
Look for 'Install app' or 'Add to Home screen' in the menu options.
Confirm Installation
A prompt will appear. Tap 'Install' to add PlanBB to your device.
